G.S. 50C-8 — EXTENSION RULES

  • Any civil no-contact order may be extended for additional periods of up to 1 year per extension
  • There is no limit on the number of extensions allowed
  • File at least 30 days before the current order expires
  • Extension may be granted with or without a hearing
  • Petitioner may also request modifications to the order at the same time
